Seeing this reminds me of the iconic picture of Jimi burning his guitar on stage, and of the tragic melted puddle of plastic on my basment floor when I tried to do the same.

G – rest asured I took great pains in selecting which great guitarists would go in this cartoon… Hendrix was a shoe in because, well, he’s Hendrix… and in the end I chose Angus because, well, he’s Aussie.
I’m not joking about that carpal tunnel shit either… my little Guitar Hero axe is safely stored away in a cupboard because after a couple of weeks of manic button-mashing and shredding after I first bought it, I was getting a sore neck. So I stopped. Still, it was worth getting it just to see my Dad have a turn, and then proceed to rock out so hard that he unplugged the guitar from the X-Box. DUDE! AWESOME!

G may have a point, but this cartoon us great! Reminds me of my buddies with strange guitar-hero related talents. I just don’t have the patience to sit in front of the TV for hours on end practicing my button-pushing technique, that doesn’t stop me from playing with my chummies. By the way, is that a squirrel on someones avatar?

The guitar on display for hendrix really ought to be a Stratocaster, not a Flying V. Angus does get his SG, why doesn’t Jimi get the guitar model most closely associated with him ?
(By the way, I do know Jimi owned a Flying V, that can be seen in some famous live videos, but I wanted to set the record straight)
