I wasn’t kidding anybody with my “cartoons daily” claim… so I’ve replaced “daily” with good old ambiguous “often”.
So, how often is “often”? Well, it’s less often than frequently but more often than occasionally. You can’t get much clearer than that.

Hey Philbo,
Ro told me about your blog – v v funny. Especially ‘The Adventures of Barn Dog and Friends’. That story about his escapades in Paris made me piss myself! How are you anyway? It’s been WAY too long. Are you on MySpace?
Send me an email. Same address as usual.

Thank you Kayla, spread the word! Soon my cult will come to fruition, and the Rutites will take over the world. Wanna be a High Priestess or something? You get a free Ferrari… all you have to do is keep Tom Cruise from joining.

Stumbled upon your blog a week ago and decided to come back. Not for the articles you write, but for how you write them, really amazing stuff you’re doing here, i like how you put information into the articles which makes it much more easier to read and much more interesting of course. Keep up the good work!

Happy cartooning, Phil!!! You’ve given so many a year of great laughs… Time now to send them to an appreciative magazine out there… Does one exist though like National Lampoon of old??????

Hi Phil, can I post your cartoons (C&P without alteration) on my FB page without busting copyright? Specifically the “Professor of Graffiti” one?
November 9, 2008 at 4:48 pm
bigeyedeer
Jacques, FB page? Wassat??
Shouldn;t be a problem at all, but shoot me an email just in case… that cartoon is being used in a line of greeting cards so I just want to make sure what the FB page thing is.
Oh, an if it’s blindingly obvious, frogive my stupidity. Early onset dementia, I believe. 🙂

Hey Phil – I absolutely love your cartoons. As a professional freelance copy monkey, I particularly like the graffiti one. Any chance you’d let me include an example on a newsletter I’m sending out to prospects? Preferably I’d like to make a tiny tweak but obviously I’d include a link to your blog.
Waddayasay?
You can check out the kind of work I do at larnercaleb.com to make sure your happy with that kind of association!

Thanks for the kind words guys. 🙂
Sorry about the slow rate of cartooning. Myself and a few friends are developing a TV series at the moment and that is one time consuming side-project I can tell you. Hopefully it will go somewhere and make all this non-cartooning time worth while!
thanks again

I stumbled upon your blog with stumbleupon.com. Your site is one of the funniest out there – I mean, really, your OUT THERE! How refreshing to see real talent wasting my time instead of, untalented me, hacking away at my bogus attempt at something meaningful.
Keep it up! (Unless of corse you are truely the leper searching for his penis. [you know, life immitating art; art immitating life. or something like that.])

Thanks Michael. Had a quick glance at your blog, you’re not hacking away, that’s some nice writing. You painted a picture of Toby the Dog and made me glad he is nowhere near my coffee table. 🙂
PS. In this modern day, aren’t we all lepers searching for their penises?

Hello! I am so excited to hear about you! I am interested in networking; I live in Seattle and have just started a graffiti postcard business… ©Grafcards.com™ which is the brain child of my husband and I aimed at promoting urban street art and providing a source/method for generating revenue to support a quarterly graffiti publication in the 206 area code. I have taken the liberty of dedicating my first run to donations, and creating a buzz. This venture is true to the heart of Hip Hop and has already in its first three weeks contributed over 500 dollars in fine art to help various community organizations/individuals. Our website is now up and running and we have HUGE plans for opening up this forum countrywide. I am interested in having you do a featurette for the Magazine. Would love to use the “Graffiti Professor” on the website: http://www.GrafCards.com
If you or any other artists you know would like to be apart of this movement or could get behind/support a real effort to decriminalize graffiti and bring a wider appreciation and greater social acceptance for the art let me know!
We are also offering a special offer for our Facebook Fans: Complete the survey on our homepage on FB and you will receive the First Issue FREE!
Sincerly,
Mary A. Snyder

Hey, really funny blog. I really want to buy a shirt with the ‘Church Mice’ on it (the one that says “We want to talk to you about cheeses” but it’s not in the merchandise section). Is it possible for me to get that?
