Hey Phil, I’m Mike Calderon, the creator of Over the Edge comics, and I have my “Flies” comic in the Webcomic Battle competition. I just wanted to tell you that I really liked your “Church Mice” comic and I was hoping that I could’ve competed with you. I was disappointed when “Church Mice” was eliminated because I felt that your comic was the superior comic in the battle. My “Flies” comic eliminated the one that eliminated “Church Mice”, but it was close. I hope to see another of your comics in the battles soon! Take care!

As for losing, I guess Webcomic Battle is a bit of a popularity contest… but nevermind, it’s just another way to get your stuff out there, right?
Anyways, that aside, I found this quite funny: it’s a running commentary of the demise of my mouse cartoon on a forum where the other bloke was trying to drum up people to vote for his cartoon.
